Overview

Located in our new office at Valley View, New Horizons Healthcare’s Office-based Opioid Treatment Program (OBOT) offers a combination of FDA-approved Medication-Assisted Treatment, behavioral health group and individual counseling, and care management services. New Horizon’s team of qualified and trained addiction treatment staff work with patients to develop and deliver individualized treatment that respects and meets each person’s unique needs.

Our Services

Medication-Assisted Treatment

FDA-approved medications reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allow the brain to heal from the damage of the illness, and help patients fully participate in their recovery journey.

Group Therapy

Engaging therapist-led group sessions teach coping strategies, relapse prevention skills, and other recovery skills to help participants live a life of meaning and purpose, drug-free.

Care Management

Our interdisciplinary care team works closely with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan for their recovery, focusing on each individual patient’s needs and linking patients to community resources.

What to Expect:

  • Weekly group therapy sessions
  • Regular prescription monitoring and Medication Assisted Treatment provided by DEA-Registered buprenorphine-waivered medical providers
  • Regular drug testing, as well as random drug testing
  • Access to a Peer Recovery Specialist to support patients in sustaining recovery, and applying new skills in their daily lives

Stages of Recovery:

Patients progress through our program in stages based on their amount of time in recovery, level of stability and motivation, and need for support.

As each patient progresses in their recovery, the stages provide appropriate structure and accountability, culminating in the final stage where the patient and treatment team develop a plan for medically supervised maintenance.
